Pretext

A text layout engine that replicates browser line-breaking using canvas measurement and Intl.Segmenter. No DOM, no reflow, no compromise. Handles CJK, Thai, Arabic, emoji, soft hyphens — the full surface of real-world text.

thisLiquidSpace

This site. An experiment in treating the web page as a living surface rather than a static document. Every visit starts in darkness. Interaction reveals. The text was always here — you just had to reach for it.

Ongoing

Most of the interesting work lives in the gaps between projects. Small tools, rough prototypes, abandoned branches that taught something useful. The best ideas arrive sideways. More thoughts on this in the blog.
